No formal entry requirements.  Basic computer skills an advantage
An interview and/or aptitude test may also be required to gain entry.
Ability to type up to 35 Words Per Minute

Course Overview
The aim of the course is to assess your ability to produce a variety of routine and specialist business documents from handwritten and typewritten drafts, and recalled text.  These will include:  letters, reports, articles, notices for display, tables, chronological lists of alphabetical and numerical information, memorandums, standard documents using recalled text from phrase files.

The course also includes learning abbreviations and presentation techniques, changing the line length, making corrections, inserting headers and footers, moving and copying text, emphasising text, creating tables and sorting within tables, inserting standard phrases.
